A Gift of Love Without the Promise of Tomorrow

Join Omari the orca on a poignant journey of discovery in However Long Forever, a beautifully illustrated children's book written and illustrated by author and speaker, Steven Cohen. This tender story explores themes of love, healing, and hope within the context of foster care, reminding us that family is built on love, no matter how long forever lasts. With no promise of tomorrow, we want our kiddos to know we love them However Long Forever.

A Celebration of Love and Hope in Foster Care

A heartwarming story for families navigating the journey of foster care.

Love Knows No Limits:

Omari, the orca, was first introduced in Loved As You Are playfully exploring the seas. Her journey reflects the experiences of many children in foster care, navigating change and searching for a place to belong. However Long Forever offers a gentle and relatable way to discuss these complex emotions with children, emphasizing the enduring power of love and the possibility of healing.

A Tribute to Unconditional Love:

This book is dedicated to the courageous families who open their hearts and homes to children in need, offering love and support without the promise of forever. It honors the sacrifices and joys of foster parenting, acknowledging the challenges while celebrating the profound impact these families have on children's lives.

Omari The Orca plays with her foster parents as they flip and spin in However Long Forever Christian Children's book.

Finding Forever in the Moment:

However Long Forever reminds us that love is not defined by permanence but by the present moment. It encourages us to embrace the beauty of each day and cherish the connections we have, offering hope for healing and reunification, even amidst heartbreak.

Share the Love:

The name Omari means flourishing in Swahili. It is our hope and desire for all families to flourish, for children to become who God dreamt of and created them to be at the beginning of forever.

This book makes a thoughtful gift for foster families, adoptive families, children, and anyone who wants to celebrate the power of love and the diverse ways families are formed. Donate a copy today by selecting Yes - This is a Donation in the options below.

I wish I had this growing up..

Such a powerful and beautiful story for our adopted children. To know they don't have to perform and can just be who they are and be loved as they are. I wish I had this book growing up and I wasn't even adopted.

This one is my favorite...

This image is my favorite in this book. All of the images are so vivid and impactful, but this one expresses the sheer joy of parenthood. Especially in foster care, we may not look alike, but fun is fun and we love, love, love having fun. This book helps us do that. Thank you!

Such a beautiful way to lo....

Such a beautiful way to speak life into a child and their birth mother. This is a must for families with children adopted through private adoption.
